Enterprise M3 Privacy Policy

Enterprise M3 take your privacy seriously. To comply with the General Data Protection Regulation and to prevent unauthorised access, we follow procedures regarding the storage and disclosure of information that you have given us.

What information do we collect from you?

We may collect and process the following information about you:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our website
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence

We do not share your information with anyone outside of Enterprise M3 however, our website may, from time to time, contain links to other websites which may be of interest to you.  If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies.  Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

What do we do with your information?

We would like to send you e-updates on Enterprise M3’s programmes and other stakeholder information, which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date.

How long do we keep your information for?

You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you. If you no longer wish to be contacted, please email info@enterprisem3.org.uk and we will remove you from any mailing lists.

How can I access the information you hold about me?

You can request your information from us at any time by emailing  info@enterprisem3.org.uk

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

PRIVACY POLICY

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

 

Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (EM3), Hampshire County Council (HCC) & Surrey County Council (SCC) use a customer relationship management (CRM) platform. The CRM helps us manage our engagement activities with local authorities, government organisations and private partners.

Read this privacy policy to understand how we store and use your data in our customer relationship management platform.

The data we collect

EM3, HCC, SCC and designated user from each local authority collect:

  • the name of your organisation including your parent department or organisation, if applicable
  • your organisation’s type, address, site, website and number of employees
  • your name, role and contact details, such as email address and phone number
  • your IP address (if you interact directly with our CRM)
  • details of meetings, phone calls, emails, agendas, outcomes, actions, minutes and other documents
  • questions, comments, queries or feedback from engagement activities

 

Why we collect your data

We collect this data to help us:

  • track our engagement activity with you and your organisation
  • ensure our contact details are up to date
  • develop a comprehensive view of our engagement activity with you and your organisation
  • avoid duplicating meetings or communication on similar topics from a number of projects and functions within our organisations
  • understand and analyse the type and quality of our engagement activity with you and your organisation so we can improve it
  • respond to any actions, questions, feedback or queries that you’ve raised with us

 

Where your data is stored

We store your data on secure servers within Europe.

From time to time, the technical support staff of our CRM platform supplier (Tractivity Ltd) may access your data. We have strict controls over how, why and when they can do this.  Any access will only be done on our instruction and under contract.

 

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as we are engaged with you and your organisation.

We regularly review the data we hold to ensure that it’s accurate. Once an engagement closes, or when we no longer need that data, we will remove it from our CRM platform.

Backups of our CRM platform data are automatically deleted after one month.

Your permission or option to opt-in and opt-out

We need to manage its engagement activities properly to provide an effective service. By engaging with us, you agree to let us use your information as set out in this privacy policy.

The data we collect will not be resold or used for commercial marketing purposes.

From 1 April 2024, the responsibility for LEP functions across the Enterprise M3 LEP region has transferred to Hampshire County Council and Surrey County Council.

The Enterprise M3 Board met for the last time in March 2024 and Enterprise M3 LEP is no longer operating as an organisation.

For any enquiries relating to economic development across the counties of Hampshire and Surrey, please visit the Hampshire County Council website and Business Surrey respectively.

Please note that Enterprise M3 LEP staff have transferred to Hampshire County Council to continue to deliver services and activities in Hampshire, including the Growth Hub, the Careers Hub, work on key business sectors, and trade and investment.
