People and Places

Supporting the vitality, appeal and economic productivity of our towns is key to the success of the Enterprise M3 area. This includes helping to ensure a 21st century efficient, clean and sustainable transport network links these communities with each other and to other important regional economic centres, such as London and Heathrow.

Our Towns and Places are a major theme of our emerging Local Industrial Strategy which includes the EM3 Town and Rural Gigabit Project. You can find some of our latest research here or download the reports from the documents section at the bottom of this page.

Enterprise M3 LEP also recognises the importance of the supply of affordable housing in towns and rural areas.

Thriving towns and rural communities, easy access to areas of beautiful countryside combined with good connectivity to London and other significant markets are important factors in the appeal and success of our area.

Supporting a sensitive balance between these strengths is one of the LEP’s fundamental aims.
