Business South expands their unique Business Champion Programme

  • Are you looking for new ways to increase business growth through better connections?
  • Do you want to help improve the economy in your region (and in turn the success of your business)?
  • Can you contribute to finding solutions to common regional issues that are restraining growth e.g. talent shortages, housing and transport issues?

The decision of the EU referendum, and the resulting uncertainty, has meant the development of networks and supply chains has become even more crucial for businesses wishing to benefit from emerging opportunities.

Business South is an independent and influential not for profit social enterprise currently celebrating the 10th anniversary of its unique Business Champion Programme that has provided a platform for countless new profitable business connections being made. In fact, market research shows that 85% of its Business Champions are making connections and doing business as a result of being a Champion.

The Business Champion Programme already boasts an impressive network of over 200 major businesses from across the region that together employ over 100,000 people.

The Programme typically provides the following:

  • Exclusive activities where business leaders from public and private sectors can connect and collaborate e.g. directors’ dinners, themed round tables and breakfasts with local MPs.
  • A platform for businesses to help the creation of economic growth in their region.
  • Valuable opportunities to work with fellow Champions on strategies to help resolve common regional issues e.g. affordable housing, skills shortages and transport challenges.

In its 10th Anniversary Year, Business South are extending the Business Champion Programme into Surrey and North Hampshire and would like the support of business leaders in this exciting development. As a first step Business South hopes to explore with business leaders how they can work together with the goal of businesses joining the Programme and becoming a Business Champion. Packages start at just £3500 plus VAT per year.
