Inspire Business Awards

Businesses have until September 6 to submit their entry to the Inspire 19 Business Awards.

Run by Destination Basingstoke, Inspire 19 celebrates the success of local business in north Hampshire, from Andover in the west to Farnborough in the east and everywhere in between.

It showcases regional businesses and centres around an outstanding awards ceremony to promote the continued success of the region’s businesses and growth of the local economy.

Hundreds of local businesses attend the Inspire Business Awards Dinner which takes place on November 21 this year.

Nick Thompson, of DCSL Software History, first applied to the awards in 2015. He was a runner-up that year and in 2018, and a winner in 2016.

I was hoping to be recognised for my achievements, and I wanted to gain some publicity for my business.

It was entirely interesting and incredibly enjoyable. From writing the initial entry, being ‘judged’, and of course the award night, which was really exciting. The benefits have been that we can boast about the award win in every sales presentation, which helps our customers see we are a good company. Also, for the staff, they enjoy being part of a successful company, which is great for employee retention.
