Meet buyers in the technology sector!
The Department for International Trade (DIT), in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), are inviting technology buyers from Europe & beyond to Cambridge, offering East Of England businesses the chance to meet with these companies face to face. Whether you produce hardware, develop software or provide expertise/consultancy in relevant technologies, you may have what they are looking for right now.
Who should take part?
Companies with products or services suitable for the following technology applications:
- Smart Cities / Smart Homes
- Internet of Things / Connected Devices
- Smart Transport / Mobility
- Cyber Security
- Big Data / Machine Learning / AI
Why take part
This is an exclusive chance for technology companies from the South East and East of England to showcase their products and services to talk directly with relevant buyers.
What will you experience?
To make sure that you get the most out of the day we have set up a booking portal to allow you to request which buyers you would like to meet. The buyers will then approve meetings depending on whether your product/service is relevant to them and this will ensure the day is optimised for you to meet the right buyers for you.
You will also have the opportunity to speak to Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and Cambridge Wireless to discuss how they can help you to grow your business.

HOW IT WORKS
Registration opens on 3rd November and remains open until 8th January.
2. Set up a profile
Next you create a profile that will be visible to other participants on this website.
- If you are a buyer, your profile should describe the types of products you are seeking and the type of partnership you are offering.
- If you are a UK company your profile should describe the products you are offering and the type of partnership you are seeking.
The sooner you set up your profile, and with as much details as possible, the better chance other delegates will have to request meetings with you. Remember that the more information you provide here, the better chance you will have to get valuable 1-2-1 meetings.
3. Request meetings
From the 8th January you can start to send meeting requests to other participants who you would like to meet at the event. In the same way, other participants will be able to request meetings with you. You have until 16th January to finalise your meeting requests. It is important to respond to requests in a timely manner as pending requests will count towards your maximum number of meetings.
4. Build connections
A few days prior to the event you will receive an email with your meetings schedule showing who you will meet, what time, and the table number where the meeting will take place. You can always check this online or via the app.
