Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership is supporting the region’s young people into future careers at the Virtual Careers and Apprenticeship Show.

The Show, on Thursday 20 May 2021, is expected to see more than 5,000 students as well as many of their parents and carers, providing them with an unrivalled opportunity to discuss opportunities and career paths directly with potential employers.

They will be able to visit ‘employer booths’ where they can find out more about vacancies, opportunities, career paths and take part in a Q&A.

Young people's employment and career prospects have been among the most impacted by the pandemic. As the economy moves forward from Covid-19, this event is an important opportunity for them to see the opportunities now available to them.

With more than 60 employer booths, aspirational speakers and the chance to ask questions, the Careers and Apprenticeship Show will showcase the impressive local offer and inspire young people to reach their potential. We are delighted to be an event sponsor.

Barney Ely , EM3 Board Director, and Chair of the EM3 Skills Advisory Panel

The event is co-organised by ten organisations including Enterprise M3 LEP, the Apprenticeships & Skills Hub, Portsmouth City Council, Southampton City Council, Hampshire County Council, BCP Council, Dorset Council, Dorset LEP and the Southern Universities Network. Working together, the event looks to promote the variety of apprenticeships and employment opportunities locally.

The event will run from 9am – 7pm online and will include a programme of webinar sessions as well as employer booths. Parents and carers are also being encouraged to attend, to support their children when talking directly to employers and accessing job/ apprenticeship opportunities.

Young people aged between 15-19 and their parents/carers can register to attend for free at www.cas2021.vfairs.com
