From 1 April 2024, the responsibility for LEP functions across the Enterprise M3 LEP region has transferred to Hampshire County Council and Surrey County Council.

The Enterprise M3 Board met for the last time in March 2024 and Enterprise M3 LEP is no longer operating as an organisation.

For any enquiries relating to economic development across the counties of Hampshire and Surrey, please visit the Hampshire County Council website and Business Surrey respectively.

Please note that Enterprise M3 LEP staff have transferred to Hampshire County Council to continue to deliver services and activities in Hampshire, including the Growth Hub, the Careers Hub, work on key business sectors, and trade and investment.

Project description

The LGF investment will help accelerate the development and progression of priority interventions in the Enterprise Zone, enabling key projects to commence in year one of the 25 year programme. The Enterprise Zone status will strengthen our ability to attract more inward investment and accelerate high value business activities that will generate jobs and stimulate economic vibrancy, further building the reputation of Enterprise M3’s area as one of UK’s most desirable place live and do business. The investment will help accelerate the transformation of the three sites into thriving communities with innovative businesses, making the EZ³ recognisable as The London & South Innovation Valley.

Project output

Over 25 years the enterprise zone will create across the three sites total area of 39.7 hectares:

  • 1,000 jobs
  • 130 businesses
  • 193,000m2 of new commercial floorspace.
